Full-Time Grant Writer

Full time position with benefits: Monday-Friday

Loaves & Fishes, a homeless survival services nonprofit organization celebrating its 36th year, is looking for an experienced, organized, detail-oriented Grant Writer to report to the Development Director. This full-time position is responsible for researching prospective grant funding, writing grant proposals, and tracking responses, deliverables, and report deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management skills are essential for the position. A strong commitment to the Loaves & Fishes mission is required.

Friendship Park Weekend Street Monitor (Part-Time)

Under the direction of Friendship Park Director and/or supervision of the Assistant Park Director, a Street Monitor is responsible for various duties and services provided by Friendship Park, while ensuring the safety and dignity of all who come to Loaves & Fishes.

This is a part-time position Saturday and Sunday from 8:30 am to 1:30 pm (26 hours/week).

Program Director - Sister Nora’s Place

40 hours per week, includes Medical & Dental benefits

Sister Nora's Place provides long-term shelter and case management for women with a history of homelessness, trauma and serious mental and physical illness. These women are often times society’s most vulnerable and forgotten people.

Sister Nora’s Place offers residents the opportunity to live more productive lives off of the streets, non-coercive and constant supportive services, a safe and peaceful environment, private living space in cubicles designed especially for residents, and activities to stabilize their lives including mental and physical health evaluations, medical appointment assistance, medication monitoring, support groups, and financial management. The program facilitates connections to more stable housing upon their exit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Program Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all guests and residential needs, activities, and fundraising, scheduling, staffing, training and daily operations while managing shifts around the clock. The Program Director reports to the Executive Director and supervises a small staff while performing the following functions:

Property Maintenance Staff

Property Maintenance staff is responsible for all routine maintenance, repairs and improvements on the Loaves & Fishes campus and related properties. This position performs a wide variety of semi-skilled maintenance duties in cooperation with the Maintenance Program Director. Medical and Dental benefits are included.
