Advocate, Sister Nora's Place

This position, under the direction of the Program Director, is 40 hours per week with medical and dental benefits. Shifts may include day, evening, overnight, weekends and holidays.

Sister Nora's Place is a shelter for women with a history of homelessness, trauma, and serious mental and physical illness. While emphasizing safety and stability, each resident receives case management, life skills training, mental and physical health support, medication monitoring, and daily support groups with the goal of reestablishing their health, independence, and ability to maintain permanent housing.

Full-Time Grant Writer

Full time position with benefits: Monday-Friday

Loaves & Fishes, a homeless survival services nonprofit organization celebrating its 36th year, is looking for an experienced, organized, detail-oriented Grant Writer to report to the Development Director. This full-time position is responsible for researching prospective grant funding, writing grant proposals, and tracking responses, deliverables, and report deadlines.

Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and project management skills are essential for the position. A strong commitment to the Loaves & Fishes mission is required.

Friendship Park Street Monitor (Full-Time)

Friendship Park, a program of Loaves & Fishes, is a daytime hospitality center for homeless men and women. Our programs include guest advocacy/outreach, resource information, breakfast, showers, toiletry/hygiene items, and survival gear. Staff works collaboratively to provide compassionate and non-judgmental service to all our guests.

Under the direction of Friendship Park Director and/or supervision of the Assistant Park Director, a Street Monitor is responsible for various duties and services provided by Friendship Park, while ensuring the safety and dignity of all who come to Loaves & Fishes. This is a full time position including medical & dental benefits.

Data-Entry Clerk (Development Associate)

Part-time, Monday - Friday, 8am-12pm (20 hours per week)

Loaves & Fishes, a homeless survival services nonprofit organization, is looking for an organized, detail-oriented Development Associate to report to the Development Director. This part-time position oversees the development database and four high school data entry interns, ensures accurate donor and donation records, and maintains donor relationships through prompt, proper acknowledgement. The Development Associate helps prospect donor relationships, and is expected to communicate clearly and tactfully with donors. Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and data entry skills are essential for the position. A strong commitment to the Loaves & Fishes mission is required.
