Long-Term Substitute Teacher

Mustard Seed School, a program of Sacramento Loaves & Fishes, has an immediate need for a long-term substitute in our combined kindergarten through second grade classroom. Mustard Seed is a free private school for children experiencing homelessness. We provide temporary, emergency schooling and seek to provide warmth, nurturing, safety, and structure within an academic environment.

Temporary Full Time, 8am to 4pm, M-F Available January 2, 2018 until summer 2018

Permanent position possible for the 2018-2019 school year

Street Monitor

Under the direction of the Friendship Park Director and/or supervision of the Assistant Park Director, a Street Monitor is responsible for various duties and services provided by Friendship Park, while ensuring the safety and dignity of all who come to Loaves & Fishes.

Development Director

Mission Statement: in an environment of welcome, hospitality, safety and cleanliness we seek to provide an oasis for homeless men, women and children seeking survival services.

The Development Director is responsible for planning, organizing, and directing all of Loaves & Fishes’ fundraising including but not limited to: Appeal Letters, Grants, United Way, Major gifts, Special Events, and Capital Campaigns. The Development Director reports to the Executive Director and works with the Board of Directors in development and fundraising endeavors. The Development Director oversees and supervises a small staff and performs the following functions:
