Tommy Clinkenbeard Legal Clinic (TCLC) 20th Virtual Anniversary Celebration

For the past 20 years, TCLC in partnership with the Public Defender’s Office and Legal Services of Northern California have provided free legal services to people experiencing homelessness. This program exists to reduce recidivism amongst the homeless population by holding a court for cases regarding minor infractions and offering community service hours as an alternative for fines that cannot be paid. Join us as we look back on how the legal clinic was started, the program’s successes and challenges, and how we are currently navigating services during the pandemic.
